Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking a bus/teacher assistant to support classroom activities, prepare materials, supervise pupils on the bus, and help with daily routines. The role involves coordinating with teachers to ensure safety and smooth transitions throughout the school day.

You will contribute to lesson planning, manage books and files, assist groups or individuals, and uphold safeguarding policies to protect students.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ school experience as a bus/teacher assistant
• Ability to work with children and follow safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to lesson planning and assessment processes including organization of books/files for individual children.
• Prepares materials or equipment for class lessons, group work or for individual children.
• Leads & assists groups of children or individuals with their tasks.
• Reads stories to groups of children.
• Prepares ICT equipment for class use and accompanies children on visits.
• Maintains confidentiality about personal details revealed by the children.
• Reports incidents to Teacher and/or Head of Early Years in accordance with Safeguarding Policy.
