Job summary

Virtusa in Dubai seeks a Senior Core Trade/SCF specialist with deep knowledge of Islamic banking products to join our banking solutions team. You will lead implementation, configuration and support of Core Trade/SCF systems and define posting rules for various instruments.

The role demands advanced programming with Java and SQL/PL-SQL, DevOps exposure, and proven experience in SIT/UAT, stakeholder management, and project delivery in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Very advanced programming and SQL/PL-SQL expertise.
• Deep knowledge of Ethix Core Banking and Core Trade/SCF systems.
• Experience in SIT/UAT and stakeholder management.
• Islamic banking knowledge including Murabaha, Istisna, Wakala, Ijara.
• Experience in defining accounting and posting rules for Trade/SCF products.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure and support Core Trade/SCF systems.
• Define posting rules for Trade/SCF instruments.
• Lead SIT/UAT activities and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Participate in project management and deliver solutions on time.

• Experience of defining accounting and posting rules for all Trade/SCF products and instruments
• Experience in SIT/UAT and stakeholder management.

• A good degree in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 18 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience of working in a Bank or financial services company (Preferably Islamic Banking).

• Minimum 18 Years in banking (10 years in consultation on Core Trade / Supply chain finance)
