Job summary

SSC seeks a Scaffolding Project Manager to oversee multi-project delivery, from mobilisation to demobilisation, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction on site in the UAE. You will plan resources, lead diverse teams, and maintain rigorous standards across every phase of the scaffold lifecycle.

You will coordinate with engineering, commercial, HSE, logistics, and human capital to optimise performance, manage risks, and protect margins while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing scaffolding projects from mobilisation to demobilisation.
• Strong ability to plan manpower, materials, and site activities.
• Proven track record in safety and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage scaffolding projects from mobilisation through execution, completion, and demobilisation.
• Develop project plans, schedules, manpower requirements, material requirements, and mobilisation strategies.
• Coordinate daily scaffolding activities, including erection, modification, inspection, handover, and dismantling.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed scope, programme, budget, and client expectations.
• Monitor project progress and address delays, resource constraints, and operational challenges.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Resolve disputes or issues during the contract lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Commercial, HSE, Logistics, and Human Capital teams.
• Ensure scaffolding activities follow designs, method statements, risk assessments, and standards.
• Maintain control and utilisation of scaffolding materials and equipment.
• Ensure adequate numbers of competent Scaffolders, Chargehands, Foremen, Supervisors, and Inspectors.
• Coordinate with design/engineering teams for complex scaffold requirements.
• Ensure scaffolds are inspected, tagged, handed over, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
