Job summary

Dicetek LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior SAS developer to design, implement, and support AML solutions on SAS Platform and SAS Viya. You will work across Compliance, Data teams and DevOps to deliver robust regulatory reporting and transaction monitoring capabilities.

The role requires 5+ years in software development with SAS, SQL and Python, plus experience in AML domains, ETL, data migration and performance tuning in banking environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development, implementation, and application support.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAS Platform and SAS Viya.
• Proven AML solutions experience (Version 7.2+).
• Strong SAS, SQL, and Python programming skills.
• Experience with ETL, data migration, and database design.
• Sound AML concepts, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Experience debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and support applications on SAS Platform and SAS Viya.
• Configure AML 7.2+ versions including monitoring workflows and reporting.
• Develop, optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries, ETL and data integration workflows.
• Build Python automation scripts to improve efficiency.
• Translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, SIT support, and production deployments.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Business Data Warehouse, Infrastructure, DevOps and Vendor teams.
• Prepare technical docs, solution designs and deployment guides.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support change management and release governance activities.
