Job summary

Dicetek LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior SAS developer to design, implement, and support AML solutions on SAS Platform and SAS Viya. You will work across Compliance, Data teams and DevOps to deliver robust regulatory reporting and transaction monitoring capabilities.

The role requires 5+ years in software development with SAS, SQL and Python, plus experience in AML domains, ETL, data migration and performance tuning in banking environments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build Python automation scripts to improve efficiency.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design develop enhance and support applications on the SAS Platform and SAS Viya


• Configure develop and maintain SAS Anti-Money Laundering AML 7 2 and higher versions including transaction monitoring scenarios alert generation workflows and reporting


• Develop optimize and troubleshoot complex SQL queries ETL processes and data integration workflows


• Build automation scripts and utilities using Python to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort


• Analyze business regulatory and compliance requirements and translate them into technical solutions


• Perform unit testing SIT support defect resolution production deployments and post-implementation validation


• Collaborate with Compliance Business Data Warehouse Infrastructure DevOps and Vendor teams throughout the project lifecycle


• Prepare technical documentation solution designs deployment guides and implementation artifacts


• Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning code optimization and root cause analysis


• Support change management release management and application governance activities

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, implementation, and application support.


• Strong hands-on experience with SAS Platform and SAS Viya.


• Proven experience in SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Solutions (Version 7.2 and above).


• Strong programming skills in SAS, SQL, and Python.


• Experience with data analysis, ETL development, data migration, and database design.


• Sound understanding of AML concepts, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk scoring, and regulatory compliance requirements.


• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Banking and Financial Services domain.


• Knowledge of Oracle Database, performance tuning, and query optimization.


• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.


• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git, and release management processes.


• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SAS Model Manager, SAS Intelligent Decisioning, or other SAS Viya components.


• Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized deployments.


• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and regulatory initiatives in a banking environment.
