Job summary

IBM Consulting in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior SAP Technical Solution Architect to own end-to-end technical architecture across SAP programs, including BTP, Joule/AI, Integration Suite, and S/4HANA clean-core.

You will shape pre-sales, drive delivery governance, and ensure architectural integrity across cloud, security, and integration layers for government and energy sector clients in the GCC. This is a senior, high-impact role based in UAE.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Hands-on S/4HANA architecture experience including clean-core principles.
Deep SAP BTP expertise across Integration Suite, CAP, RAP, ABAP Cloud, and event-driven architectures.
Proven experience with SAP Integration Suite covering SAP and non-SAP integrations.
Working knowledge of SAP Business AI/Joule capabilities and enterprise adoption models.
Experience governing architecture across distributed delivery models.
Demonstrated pre-sales experience including RFP responses and commercial sizing.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with senior client engagement experience.
Consulting mindset with ability to balance innovation with delivery pragmatism.

Technical Architecture Ownership

You own end-to-end technical architecture across SAP BTP, Integration Suite, SAP Work Zone, SAP Joule/AI-enabled capabilities, and S/4HANA clean-core architectures. You define scalable, secure, and future-ready SAP architectures aligned with client enterprise standards, security policies, and long-term digital roadmaps — serving as the single point of accountability for all technical architecture decisions.

Pre-Sales & Solution Shaping

You shape technical solutions during pre-sales activities including RFP responses, proposal development, and solution design. You lead commercial sizing, effort estimation, and technical input into pricing and cost models, translating business requirements into end-to-end technical solution designs.

Delivery Governance & Architecture Integrity

You serve as the technical anchor and escalation point for delivery teams throughout the lifecycle, governing architectural integrity and ensuring adherence to approved designs and best practices. You provide early and continuous oversight to proactively identify risks, resolve design issues, and reduce delivery and operational exposure.

Cloud, Security & Integration Architecture

You design and govern enterprise-grade SAP architectures aligned to client security and compliance standards, covering RISE with SAP, private cloud, and hyperscaler integrations. You bring deep expertise in SAP CPI/Integration Suite, CAP/RAP/ABAP Cloud extension frameworks, event-driven architectures, API-based integration patterns, and identity and access management within SAP landscapes.
