Job summary

MAKAMIN Recruitment seeks an experienced SAP ABAP/FIORI developer in Abu Dhabi to deliver developments according to Development standards and specifications.

You will develop ABAP code, build Fiori applications, and ensure proper documentation, testing and performance improvements across SAP environments. Excellent English skills are required for cross-functional collaboration and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT-focused discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP/FIORI Development.
• Very good knowledge of databases and Java.
• Experience in project management of major development or operations projects.
• Excellent English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop ABAP code in line with the Functional Specification Document.
• Build custom Fiori applications and backend ABAP programming.
• Follow Development Standards while creating and enhancing ABAP programs and Fiori applications.
• Create and enhance all types of SAP forms (internal and external).
• Review functional consultant inputs and report on known limitations, errors, and workarounds.
• Simplify the solution experience using SAP personas and SAP FIORI applications.
• Ensuring proper documentation of developed objects (Technical specification).
• Configuration, customization, and implementation of SAP FIORI Applications.
• Has full knowledge of workflow building procedures.
• Reporting Technical Feasibility and providing effort estimation.
• Providing inputs to support change authorization to the security team.
• Troubleshooting and analyzing live applications for further improvements.
• Work on service tickets requiring Fiori and ABAP.
• Unit Testing.
• Performance Tuning and Code Quality improvement to improve the performance of the objects.
• Learn and gain knowledge following the continuous service improvement process.

Purpose of the Job

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT focus is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP/FIORI Development, with very good knowledge of databases and JAVA.
• Experience in project management of major development or operations projects
