Job summary

DYNAMIC EMPLOYMENT SERVICES L.L.C. is seeking an experienced SAP Developer to design and implement SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and ABAP services on SAP BTP.

You will build RESTful/OData APIs, integrate with SAP S/4HANA, and collaborate with business teams to optimize processes. The role requires strong ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, and SAP BTP expertise, with hands-on experience in integration, DevOps, and data modeling.

Qualifications

• Strong ABAP programming across reports, forms, enhancements, OO ABAP, CDS views, and performance optimization.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 design and development using SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements.
• Hands-on SAP BTP development including RAP or CAP, and familiarity with Java/Node.js runtimes.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA and third‑party systems via OData, REST, SOAP, IDoc, BAPI, RFC.
• Proficient in SAP development tools (Eclipse ADT, SAP GUI); familiar with Git, transport management, Agile methods, CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA concepts and data modeling.

Job description

1. Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP Fiori applications and ABAP services on SAP BTP, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

2. Build and maintain RESTful/OData APIs and integration interfaces with SAP S/4HANA and third-party applications.

3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop prototypes, and optimize business processes.

4. Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot issues throughout the development lifecycle.

5. Stay current with SAP BTP technologies, including CAP/RAP, Java/Node.js runtimes, and integration services, and recommend continuous improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. ABAP Development: Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including reports, forms, enhancements, Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, and performance optimization. Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

2. SAP Fiori / UI5: Hands-on experience in designing and developing SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements. Knowledge of responsive UI/UX principles, Fiori Launchpad configuration, and integration with OData and REST services.

3. SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP): Experience with SAP BTP application development, including RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) and/or CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model). Familiarity with BTP runtimes, Java/Node.js, and UI5-based application development.

4. Integration & APIs: Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA and third‑party systems using OData, IDoc, BAPI, RFC, REST, and SOAP services. Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and API Management is preferred.

5. Tools & DevOps: Proficient in SAP development tools such as Eclipse ADT and SAP GUI, with experience in Git, transport management, Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

6. Database & Analytics: Good understanding of SAP HANA concepts, CDS Views, SQL, and data modeling, with the ability to optimise database performance and data access.

Educational Background & Certifications

• Certifications or training in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), DevOps practices, or CI/CD frameworks would be an added advantage.
