About The Team
You will be part of a dynamic and autonomous team, from Careem veterans to new members, all aligned on the values of ownership, innovation, and service to customers, partners, colleagues, and captains.
What You'll Do
- Identify, target, pitch, and close deals with restaurant/food outlet partners to onboard them to the Careem Food Delivery network.
- Work with various restaurant types, including large chains and small outlets.
- Identify high-potential geographic clusters within the city with high restaurant density and diverse cuisines.
- Onboard partners already on other platforms and expand beyond to build a competitive edge, using a cluster-by-cluster approach.
- Negotiate and close deals involving commercials, exclusivity, and consumer offers.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Passion for improving lives, excellence, customer service, and alignment with core values: boldness, focus, agility, collaboration.
- Proven experience in acquisition, direct, and channel sales, with a track record of closing deals.
- Motivated with a proactive approach to developing new opportunities and growing the business.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and regions.
- Excellent communication skills and market trend awareness.
- Creative thinking and a proactive attitude towards building a business pipeline.
- Analytical skills and the ability to derive meaningful insights.
- 1-2 years of experience in field sales or business development, with consistent achievement of targets.
- Ability to perform under pressure with limited resources, using innovative, tech-based solutions.
- Ownership mindset, high energy, and self-motivation.
- Tech-savvy with an interest in e-commerce and internet-based business models.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of Dubai and its geographic landscape.
