A leading technology firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sales Engineer – Controls Systems to focus on project sales and installation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with 2-3 years of sales experience in UAE. Job description
What you will do

The Sales Engineer – Controls Systems is a key role reporting directly to Sales Manager - Controls, Install.

You will be based in Abu Dhabi and concentrated on project sales and installation solutions, growing our market share with new business customers in UAE and driving the growth of business for Install division segment for Building Technology and Solutions with particular focus on Controls (BMS) portfolio.

As a member of the self-driven team, you will work within an environment that provides a platform and resources for you to learn and use your experience to generate new business.

How you will do it
As a Sales Engineer :

You will have an understanding and knowledge of our product portfolio among BMS solutions and you will work closely with the customers to meet their expectations to close the new opportunities.

You will qualify and work closely along with our internal pre-sales expertise to have the right techno-commercial solutions for the projects with customers.

Prepares technical and commercial proposals for the customers and direct tenders.

You will demonstrate your expertise by differentiating Johnson Controls, leveraging your market understanding, sales strategies, products, and services.

Develops and maintains long-term relationship with the customers and identifies ways to anticipate customer needs.

You are determined and consistent in your approach to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously by planning and time management skills.

You will do extensive stakeholder mapping for strategic accounts to enable business growth within JCI installed base and expand our presence in these accounts

You will adhere to company processes, compliances and policies, with zero tolerance, while executing professional responsibilities.

What we look for
Required

University Degree – bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.

Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience focused on selling installation solutions for Controls business within UAE region.

Customer focused and ability to build relationship with customers.

Organization skills and ability for multi-tasking in a fast paced work environment.

Determined, results and self-driven, maturity and high team spirit are essential qualities to succeed in a dynamic environment

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
