About the Role

We are supporting a leading provider of advanced electrical and power infrastructure solutions in the UAE to hire a Sales Development Manager focused on the data centre segment across the Middle East. This role will drive market penetration and business development efforts across hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centre projects, with a strong emphasis on early project engagement, solution specification, and strategic relationship building.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the regional data centre ecosystem and demonstrated success working with developers, operators, EPCs, and technology partners across major markets in the UAE, KSA, and Egypt.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or Business
  • 5-8 years experience in business development or technical sales within data centres, critical infrastructure, energy, or industrial solutions in the Middle East
  • Strong stakeholder network across developers, EPCs, and technology vendors
  • Willingness to travel across UAE, KSA & Egypt
  • Fluency in English; Arabic capability is advantageous
Key Responsibilities
Market & Strategy Development
  • Analyze regional market trends and opportunities in the data centre sector
  • Track hyperscale and enterprise data centre initiatives and digital infrastructure projects
  • Map key stakeholders including operators, consultants, contractors, and governmental entities
Business Development
  • Engage with consultants and contractors to position and specify company solutions in early project stages
  • Build and convert a robust pipeline of large-scale data centre opportunities
  • Participate in RFPs, tenders, and strategic proposal submissions
Project & Account Management
  • Develop solutions in collaboration with technical and engineering teams
  • Support ongoing key accounts and expand business within active data centre programs
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles from specification and tendering to installation coordination
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
  • Build trusted relationships with data centre operators, system integrators, EPCs, and technology ecosystem partners
  • Lead commercial presentations, bidding processes, and strategic discussions with senior decision-makers
Sales Execution & Delivery
  • Ensure solutions are successfully specified, ordered, delivered, and deployed across customer sites
  • Coordinate with internal delivery teams and external stakeholders to support installation and commissioning
Candidate Profile
  • Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure requirements and buying cycles
  • Proven success influencing consultants and securing specification in complex technical projects
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive long-cycle enterprise sales
