Job Overview
The Sales and Operations Executive will play a pivotal role in managing day‑to‑day customer requirements, operational coordination, and sales support. The ideal candidate should have a background in building materials trading, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to oversee logistics, stock management, and financial follow‑ups. This position requires a proactive approach to client engagement, operational efficiency, and payment collections to ensure smooth business operations and sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management – Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business, customer satisfaction, and long‑term partnerships.
- Market Research & Analysis – Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities and optimize pricing strategies.
- Sales Support & Quotation Management – Prepare, negotiate, and finalize quotations, contracts, and pricing terms with customers to secure profitable deals.
- Operations & Logistics Coordination – Work closely with internal teams (logistics, finance, and operations) to ensure smooth order fulfilment, inventory tracking, and material delivery.
- Payment Follow‑ups & Collections – Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, ensuring timely collections and minimizing financial risks.
- Stock & Pricing Management – Maintain accurate records of material stocks, pricing structures, and profit & loss tracking to optimize business operations.
- Reporting & Analysis – Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management to support strategic decision‑making.
- Business Development & Networking – Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to build strong relationships with contractors, developers, and construction firms, driving business growth.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and operations within the building materials, cement, steel, or construction‑related industries.
- Qualifications: Civil Engineering Degree is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of GGBS, OPC, PC Strands and general building materials market trends in the UAE and Middle East.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and successfully close sales deals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Analytical & Organizational Skills: Ability to manage pricing, stock levels, and operational workflows efficiently.
- Networking Abilities: Capability to develop strong relationships with contractors, developers, and construction professionals.
- Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is mandatory (willingness to travel within the region as required).
