PIPECARE Group of Companies – the leading provider of inline inspection services in the Oil & Gas field - is looking for the Sales and Marketing Director to join our team.
The Sales and Marketing Director will contribute to PIPECARE Group's objective of being the “best in class” pipeline inspection company. S/he will be the brand ambassador for PIPECARE Group's innovative technology and responsible for all worldwide sales. S/he will be expected to expand the current client portfolio and implement strategies to grow market presence. The primary responsibility will be to manage a growing Sales and Business Development Team at the Head Office (HO) and regional subsidiaries, who will implement and monitor sales, marketing strategies, policies, and plans.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities
- Lead the Sales and Business Development team for your dedicated regions.
- Responsible for growing, expanding, and maintaining revenues and customer base within the assigned territories.
- Develop, approve, and execute sales and marketing plans and strategies for the territories, form the budget accordingly, and set specific objectives and performance criteria aligned with PIPECARE Group's objectives.
- Ensure long-standing customer relations and networking with key international oil and gas clients. Provide marketing intelligence regarding trends, new developments, and competitor activities.
- Direct personnel in operational procedures to complete assignments and understand manpower and equipment requirements for industrial service projects and emergency responses.
- Interface professionally with customers to update on project status and resolve issues.
- Represent PIPECARE Group in regional and national networking organizations to benefit growth within assigned product lines.
- Work closely with Project Management, D&A, R&D, and TM/Production teams to ensure customer needs are met for all projects.
- Establish in-depth knowledge of market rates, competitive pricing, and market dynamics to maintain an acceptable win rate at margins.
- Maintain company/contact information and document all sales calls, customer visits, and business opportunities.
- Ensure all sales and marketing materials are up-to-date and available in the sales library.
- Motivate and develop your team to meet KPIs and support personal development.
- Execute additional tasks as requested by PIPECARE Group CEO and Executive Team.
Accountability
- Define long-term organizational strategic goals.
- Manage S&M team, set targets for BDMs.
- Be accountable for sales targets.
- Travel extensively as required.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Management/Engineering with strong commercial skills.
- Minimum 5 years of international sales experience, culminating in a senior sales or business development role.
- Preferably from Oil & Gas services and products with consultative sales experience at a senior level within major Oil & Gas companies.
- Fluent in English, both written and oral.
- Experience managing a motivated S&M team and overseeing operations within territories.
- Strong selling, negotiation, analytical skills, and knowledge of legal and commercial aspects.
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, climb, and access elevated platforms.
- Effective communication skills and focus to multitask.
- Ability to wear safety equipment and travel to off-site locations.
