Job summary

A leading global talent solutions company is seeking a Sales Account Manager in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will drive business growth by managing key accounts and developing client relationships in IT solutions ranging from cybersecurity to cloud services. A proven sales background in UAE's ICT sector and technical selling skills are essential for success in this role. This position is onsite and requires a valid UAE driving license.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-6 years of proven sales experience working in a UAE-based system integrator or ICT service provider.
  • Strong network and customer base within the UAE public and private sectors.
  • Familiarity with working alongside leading vendors (Cisco, HPE, Dell EMC, etc.).
  • Valid UAE driving license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Promote and sell diverse IT solutions and services.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline in CRM.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Assist in project follow-ups when needed.

About the role

Role: Permanent
Location: Onsite in Abu Dhabi
Adecco is hiring a Sales Account Manager for our prestigious client in Abu Dhabi with a proven track record in UAE-based system integrator companies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by managing key accounts, developing new client relationships, and promoting a wide range of IT solutions and services, including infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and managed services.
This role requires strong consultative selling skills, technical understanding of enterprise solutions, and a deep knowledge of the UAE IT market, particularly in government, semi‑government, and enterprise sectors.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities across various sectors.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation, requirement gathering, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Promote and sell IT solutions and services:
    • IT infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization)
    • Networking (LAN, WAN, wireless, SD‑WAN)
    • Cybersecurity solutions (firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection)
    • Cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, private cloud)
    • ELV & AV systems
    • Data & AI
    • Managed and professional services
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with pre‑sales and solution architects.
  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline in CRM and provide regular forecasting reports.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs as defined by the company.
  • Maintain excellent client satisfaction and assist in project follow‑ups when needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners and distributors.
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4‑6 years of proven sales experience working in a UAE-based system integrator or ICT service provider.
  • Experience selling mid‑to‑large scale IT projects and solutions.
  • Strong network and customer base within the UAE public and private sectors.
  • Solid understanding of the UAE ICT landscape, government procurement processes, and enterprise IT requirements.
  • Familiarity with working alongside leading vendors (Cisco, HPE, Dell EMC, Fortinet, Palo Alto, MS, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client‑facing skills.
  • Valid UAE driving license is required.
