Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is seeking a Saikindō Hostess to create memorable guest experiences from the moment they arrive. You will welcome guests, manage the host stand and coordinate with servers to ensure flawless dining experiences.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years as a hostess in luxury hotels, strong English communication, and comfort with F&B systems. This full-time role offers competitive pay, training, and employee benefits.

Qualifications

1–2 years' experience as a Hostess in luxury bar/hotel
College education or equivalent experience
Previous experience in a similar position with luxury hotels is an advantage
Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost and labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
Ability to operate computer equipment and F&B software systems
Excellent reading, writing and spoken English
Familiarity with Four Seasons standards and procedures
Energetic and professional approach to guest service

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide exceptional service at the host stand in collaboration with servers
Review reservations and manage table setup to optimize dining flow
Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas and stations
Develop working knowledge of menus, ingredients, and restaurant information
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Saikindō Floor Manager and Hotel Management

About the role

The Saikindō Hostess is the first interaction for guests in the Restaurant, and is the designer of memorable experiences. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.

What you will do

Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers
Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the table sections
Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining room and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set
Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Saikindō Floor Manager, Director of Beverage, Asst. Director of F&B and Hotel Manager

What you bring

1 to 2 years' previous experience as a Hostess in luxury bar
College education or equivalent experience
Previous employment experience in asimilar position with otherluxury Hotels will be an added advantage
Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job
Positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
Ability to proactively anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest
Energetic and professional approach to his/her craft
