Job summary

TASC Outsourcing is hiring an experienced Safety Trainer to deliver 40+ HSE training modules across industrial sites in the UAE. The role focuses on behavioural change, hazard awareness, and safe work practices for operators, technicians, and contractors.

You will adapt content for diverse audiences, travel between sites, and maintain records. A strong safety background with CPD is essential, with NEBOSH or IOSH preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years in manufacturing operations or maintenance with safety management/training background.
• Experience in aluminium, steel, oil and gas, petrochemicals or heavy manufacturing.
• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 40+ safety training modules in classroom, practical and on-site settings.
• Complete induction and sign-off for each module within agreed timeframes.
• Adapt delivery for mixed audiences with varying English and literacy levels.
• Deliver to the agreed schedule, travelling between sites as required.
• Use facilitation, real scenarios, workplace stories and practical demonstrations to build hazard awareness.
• Coach learners to challenge unsafe acts, use stop-work authority and report near misses.
• Reinforce learning through follow-up sessions, toolbox talks and on-site observations.
• Assess knowledge and practical competence against module standards and keep accurate records.
• Gather learner feedback and observation evidence, and report behaviour trends to the HSE.
• Identify outdated content and recommend improvements to content owners.
• Model EHSSQ standards at all times, in and out of the training room.
• Ensure training meets company procedures and requirements.
• Maintain professional registration and continuing professional development (CPD)

Job description

We are hiring an experienced Safety Trainer to deliver a portfolio of 40+ HSE training modules to employees and contractors at major industrial manufacturing sites. Every session aims at lasting behavioural change: people who spot hazards, speak up, use stop-work authority and follow safe systems of work on the shop floor. You will deliver general safety content and company safety-tool training. The content is provided, and you bring it to life for each audience.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years in manufacturing operations or maintenance, with a background in safety management, HSE or technical training
• Experience in aluminium, steel, oil and gas, petrochemicals or heavy manufacturing (other industrial sectors also welcome)
• Experience with behaviour-based safety (BBS) programmes preferred
• Recognised safety qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH (preferred)
