Rixos in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a Safety Officer to develop and implement safety policies, conduct inspections and lead training for hotel staff. You will investigate incidents, maintain records and ensure proper PPE usage to uphold high safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years in an HSE position, knowledge of regulations, and strong English communication skills. Experience in luxury hospitality is preferred and you will be based on site in Ras Al Khaimah.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years in a Safety Officer or HSE role.
• Knowledge of health, safety and risk management regulations.
• Experience with inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Ability to prepare clear safety reports and compliance documentation.
• Knowledge of PPE requirements and emergency response procedures.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and maintain safety policies and procedures
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments and audits
• Lead safety training sessions for employees
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses with corrective actions
• Maintain records of incidents, training, inspections and corrective actions
• Ensure availability and proper use of PPE
• Maintain pool cleanliness and safety standards
• Act as point of contact for safety matters and emergency preparedness
