Job summary

NH Collection Ibn Battuta Hotel in Dubai is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and suites to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. The role focuses on delivering flawless, welcoming environments and contributing to guest satisfaction.

You will handle daily cleaning, linen replacement, maintenance reporting, guest requests, and inventory of supplies, working in a premium hotel known for wellbeing, gastronomy, culture, and indulgence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Cleaner in a 4- or 5-star hotel is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long shifts, and basic English to understand guest requests.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently under tight shift timelines.

Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Clean, dust, vacuum, and sanitize guest rooms, balconies, and bathrooms daily according to brand standards.
• Linen & Bedding: Strip and remake beds with fresh sheets, change towels, and replenish guest amenities (soaps, shampoo, mini-bar items, coffee supplies).
• Maintenance Reporting: Inspect rooms for any damage or broken items (e.g., burnt-out light bulbs, leaking faucets) and report them immediately to the Engineering team.
• Guest Service: Respect guest privacy ("Do Not Disturb" signs), handle guest requests politely, and return any lost-and-found items to the supervisor.
• Trolley & Inventory: Restock and organize the housekeeping trolley at the start and end of each shift with adequate cleaning supplies and linens.
