Job summary

Analog seeks a Field Application Engineer to deliver hands-on technical support for advanced robotic solutions in spot and stretch products. You will help with setup, integration, and optimization of robotic systems, working closely with customers and internal teams.

The role requires deep hardware knowledge, software integration skills, and the ability to train customers on operation and troubleshooting. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience with robotics system implementation and support.
• Experience with robot hardware, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of robot system architecture and software/hardware integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel on-site for assessments.

Responsibilities

• Customer Implementation Support: act as the technical expert for robot implementation and optimization.
• Robotics Hardware Expertise: advise on hardware selection and configuration for arms, sensors, actuators.
• Robotics Software Expertise: assist with integration between Orbit and customer work order systems.
• System Architecture and Design: ensure optimal performance by integrating hardware and software.
• Collaboration with Teams: work with engineering, product management, and sales/marketing.
• Customer Training & Support: provide on-site or remote training and ongoing support.
• Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: diagnose and resolve complex issues to minimize downtime.
• Feedback & Reporting: communicate customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
• Sales Support: assist with demonstrations and solution proposals.
• Documentation: create and maintain technical docs and guidelines.
