Job summary
Al Marwan Group in the UAE seeks an experienced Project Engineer Roads & Infrastructure to support planning, execution and delivery of road projects across the UAE. The role demands strong technical knowledge, on-site coordination, and hands-on management of activities aligning with project specs and timelines.
The Project Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to quality and safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of UAE roads and infrastructure project experience.
- Experience with RAK projects is a plus.
- FIDIC contracts experience is advantageous.
- UAE driving license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, execution and monitoring of roads projects.
- Coordinate daily site activities to meet drawings, specs and schedules.
- Review shop drawings, method statements and ITPs for compliance.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients and subcontractors for clarifications.
- Monitor progress and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety and environmental standards.
- Supervise subcontractors, suppliers and manpower on site.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues on site.
- Support quantity surveying, measurements and material planning.
- Assist in RFIs, NCRs and technical queries closure.
- Attend site coordination and progress meetings and support testing handover.
