Job summary

SSBZHospital in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post-Acute Rehabilitation unit. You will provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from illness, surgery, or neurological conditions, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and safe discharge.

The role requires a DOH RN license or eligibility, 2–3 years of Post-Acute Rehab experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications (PALS a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Valid DOH license as Registered Nurse or eligibility to obtain one.
• 2-3 years experience in Post-Acute Rehabilitation Unit.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS is an advantage.
• Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Delivers comprehensive nursing assessments and individualized care plans for post-acute rehabilitation patients.
• Provides advanced nursing care, close monitoring, and support for medically complex or ventilated patients.
• Administers medications and assists with complex medical procedures per guidelines.
• Promotes a safe, culturally sensitive environment and engages families in care.
• Documents care accurately and communicates with the multidisciplinary team for continuity.
• Participates in quality improvement, audits, and educational initiatives to enhance outcomes.
• Supports staff development through supervision and scheduling.
