Job summary

A leading consultancy in construction is seeking a professional to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing risk strategies for high-profile mixed-use projects, emphasizing integrity and client relationships.   • Drives team performance through technical development, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Builds strong professional relationships with clients and provides expert risk advice.
  • Supports project teams in managing risks to key objectives.
  • Facilitates risk workshops and delivers quantitative risk analysis.
  • Develops action plans, assigns owners, and monitors updates.
  • Ensures alignment with standards and legislation.

The project

This is an opportunity to be part of high-profile projects for mixed used, commercial and residential development, including Infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Ensures effective application of risk strategies and frameworks on assigned commissions.
  • Drives team performance through technical development, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Builds strong professional relationships with clients and provides expert risk advice.
  • Supports project teams in managing risks to key objectives and escalating issues.
  • Facilitates risk workshops and delivers quantitative risk analysis for cost and time.
  • Develops action plans, assigns owners, and monitors updates to project plans.
  • Monthly risk reports and ensures alignment with Mace standards and legislation.
  • Promotes risk integration with PMO disciplines and supports net-zero carbon initiatives.
You’ll need to have:
  • Relevant degree (e.g. risk management, engineering) or equivalent.
  • Progress towards achievement of Chartered status (or equivalent) and/or membership of professional a relevant professional institution e.g. Association of Project Managers/Institute of Risk Management.
