JOB TITLE
Risk & Compliance Executive | Emirati Talent | Risk Management | MAF Entertainment

ROLE SUMMARY
The Compliance Executive is responsible for overseeing operational compliance and conducting self-audits across the various business units within Entertainment. This role ensures adherence to established systems, processes, and policies to maintain consistency and accountability. It involves independently monitoring compliance activities to support accurate reporting, effective information flow, and strong business governance. Additionally, the role contributes to enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a structured plan for monthly or bi-monthly compliance reviews, using standardized checklists for both operational and back-office processes.
• Conduct compliance tests and identify areas of non-compliance, reporting findings to the Finance Manager and Operations or Country Managers for corrective action.
• Monitor adherence to reporting deadlines across management, financial, and operational functions to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to follow up on compliance issues and support investigations as needed.
• Support the implementation of new compliance programs in coordination with the Compliance Manager, and assist with process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform regular site visits across business units in the United Arab Emirates and provide ad hoc support or duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced and diverse environments.
• High ethical standards, persuasive communication skills, and the ability to approach issues from multiple perspectives.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations and finance roles, specifically managing compliance-related activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field; compliance certification is preferred.
