Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a crucial member of our organization, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient lifting and moving of heavy equipment and materials on our job sites.

1. Inspect and prepare loads for movement, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
2. Set up, align, and level heavy equipment and machinery with precision.
3. Select and prepare appropriate rigging gear, including beams, pulleys, clamps, and bolts.
4. Conduct thorough inspections of rigging equipment before and after use.
5. Maneuver loads using heavy equipment machinery and manual techniques.
6. Monitor and maintain rigging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
7. Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, local, and company safety procedures.
8. Collaborate effectively with the rigging and construction team members.
9. Communicate clearly and efficiently with team members during operations.
10. Adapt to working in Dubai's climate conditions, including high temperatures and occasional sandstorms.
11. Break down rigging equipment and conduct post-rigging inspections.
12. Stay updated on the latest rigging techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid rigging certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a rigger in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment, heavy machinery, and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and local UAE safety regulations.
