Dubai Holding Entertainment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform planned preventative maintenance on amusement rides and related devices in a dynamic entertainment environment in the UAE.
The role emphasizes safety, fault diagnosis, and timely resolution of technical issues, supporting third-party inspections and pre-opening/setup activities across multiple attractions.
Qualifications
- Diploma, Degree, Industrial Certificate, or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic, instrumentation, or amusement ride maintenance
- Working knowledge of EN 13814, torque inspection standards, and EN 17020
- Ability to read blueprints, mechanical schematics, ride drawings, and manufacturer manuals
- Strong focus on safety, accountability, and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance to ensure amusement rides and devices remain fully operational
- Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot ride systems while prioritizing guest and employee safety
- Identify ride faults and support timely resolution of technical issues and ride stoppages
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance checks, and complete required maintenance documentation and checklists
- Monitor ride conditions and ensure maintenance records are accurately captured and maintained
- Support ride inspections and assist with independent third-party inspection requirements
- Inspect and verify the safe opening, suspension, and re-opening of rides and attractions
- Support ride maintenance during operations, pre-opening setup, seasonal close-out, and off-season activities
