Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment | Operations is seeking a Technician to execute a range of maintenance tasks on amusement and arcade assets across sites in the UAE. You will perform inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering and prior experience in leisure or family entertainment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in operations and maintenance.
• Familiarity with arcade machines, amusement rides, simulators, VR setups, or related electro‑mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of arcade machines, rides, and facility systems to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Troubleshoot and carry out corrective and emergency repairs on amusement equipment and support systems.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to HSE guidelines and internal SOPs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, spare parts usage, and repair activities.
• Respond promptly to technical faults during operating hours to minimize guest disruption.
• Collaborate with operations and guest services teams to ensure optimal equipment uptime and guest satisfaction.
• Provide input for continuous improvement in technical processes and systems.
