Overview
AGS Security Management is seeking an RFP Procurement Analyst – Government Clients to lead and manage the proposal process for federal, state, and local government contracts.
This role is critical in developing high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals that showcase our security services. You’ll work closely with our dedicated RFP Team, sales, operations, legal, and finance departments to deliver winning submissions.
No prior security industry experience? No problem! If you have experience working with RFPs, we’ll provide full training on our security services, regulations, and compliance requirements.
We are especially looking for someone who can use AI tools, editing skills, and creative thinking to give proposals a fresh look, bring new ideas to life, and help create winning RFPs in collaboration with our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal Management: Manage the full proposal lifecycle, from RFP/RFQ/RFI analysis to submission. Ensure proposals are compliant, competitive, and professionally presented.
- RFP Analysis & Content Development: Review RFPs to understand requirements, scope, and evaluation criteria. Write, edit, and organize content (executive summaries, staffing plans, compliance strategies, pricing models). Leverage AI tools and editing techniques to modernize proposal designs and enhance readability.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams (RFP, sales, operations, legal, finance). Ensure proposal components align with regulations, client needs, and company objectives.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Guarantee proposals meet government regulations and standards. Conduct quality checks for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Repository & Follow-Up: Maintain proposal templates and a repository of past submissions. Track proposal statuses, respond to clarifications, and assist in negotiations.
- Market Research: Research procurement trends and identify new contract opportunities. Monitor competitors and industry activity to strengthen strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in RFP development/proposal writing (government procurement preferred).
- No prior security industry experience required – full training provided.
- Strong understanding of government procurement and compliance processes.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with persuasive proposal development ability.
- Proficiency in AI tools and creative editing software to modernize proposal layouts and bring fresh ideas into submissions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- High attention to detail and compliance standards.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and proposal management tools.
- Ability to work night shift (UAE time zone) aligned with Los Angeles operations.
