Al-Futtaim Retail is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Toys "R" Us at Yas Mall. The role focuses on driving sales, leading a team, and maintaining top-notch merchandising and customer service standards across the store.

You will oversee daily operations, staff development, inventory control, and adherence to company policies, while delivering a high-quality shopping experience for customers in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
• Create and execute strategies to maximize store sales and control expenses.
• Control company assets by meeting all loss prevention measures, managing inventory, in- and out‑bound stock movements, sales, returns, exchanges, and store maintenance.
• Execute and comply with all company policies and store procedures.
• Support recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining high‑quality associates for store profile and succession planning.
• Lead by example, train, develop, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, and visual merchandising.
• Organize weekly staff meetings and daily briefings to recap store performance and communicate new company goals and strategies.
• Ensure an excellent level of customer service is prioritized at all times by executing and achieving Customer Experience consistently.
• Maintain visibility and lead by example on the selling floor to answer customer questions and support all selling functions.
• Implement all visual merchandising standards, promotions, and ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
