Job summary

JobCenter in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a Salesman to welcome customers, help them choose products, and process transactions at the register. The role requires clear communication in English and a professional, friendly demeanour.

Candidates should be organized, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced store, and able to stand for long periods. Prior sales or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or customer service roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time during shifts (8 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide outstanding customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and questions
• Assist customers in selecting the best products to meet their needs
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, as well as security practices.
• Follow all company procedures related to cash handling, transactions, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain a neat and tidy store environment that is conducive to customer satisfaction.
• Provide product knowledge information when required.
• Track daily sales activity using available tools such as point-of-sale systems.
