Job summary

India Abroad in Sharjah UAE seeks an experienced merchandiser to promote products, ensure attractive displays, and maximize sales. You will maintain shelves, assist customers, and coordinate promotions to boost turnover.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, and works well both independently and in a team in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in merchandising or related field (immigrants considered).
• Good knowledge of retail products, trends, pricing structures, and customer service principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focus.
• Able to multitask under pressure with tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Promote products through displays, window dressing, and promotions.
• Maintain tidy, stocked shop shelves and displays.
• Advise customers on product selection.
• Identify customer needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain records of sales and stock levels.
• Manage stock levels and order supplies when required.
• Monitor competitor activity and respond as needed.
