The role requires practical experience in commercial kitchens, strong troubleshooting skills, safety awareness, and the ability to work with kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Technician or in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various kitchen appliances efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, as required.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, grills, and refrigeration units.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen tools and machinery to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize disruption.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies required for repairs.
• Keep maintenance records and reports for all equipment serviced.
