Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Supervise kitchen and floor activities, ensuring smooth coordination between service and culinary teams while upholding operational efficiency across all shifts.
  • Monitor food preparation, portioning, and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet the restaurant’s standards of authenticity, taste, and hygiene.
  • Lead, train, and schedule staff; conduct performance evaluations, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Handle emails, duty rosters, operational reporting, and inventory coordination while ensuring clear communication with management and suppliers.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in Arabic (dialects such as Syrian, Palestinian, Jordanian, or Lebanese preferred).
  • Culinary diploma, hotel management certificate, or equivalent qualification is highly recommended.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a Levantine or Middle Eastern restaurant, with at least 2 years in the UAE and strong expertise in traditional Levantine cuisine (mezze, grills, baked items, salads, breads) with a deep understanding of authentic preparation techniques.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing and motivating multicultural kitchen and service staff and knowledge of Dubai Municipality health & safety standards, HACCP compliance, and kitchen hygiene best practices.
