Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a competent restaurant accountant to manage daily cash flow, reconcile transactions, and ensure accuracy. You will oversee AP/AR, prepare monthly financial statements, and monitor inventory to control costs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, has at least 3 years in restaurant accounting, understands hospitality financial challenges, and is proficient in QuickBooks or similar software. This role offers stability in a dynamic hospitality market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years progressive restaurant accounting experience.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to vendors and efficient collection of customer payments, contributing to positive vendor relationships.

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, providing valuable insights into the restaurant's financial performance.

• Conduct thorough inventory management, tracking food and beverage costs, and implementing strategies to minimize waste and optimize profitability.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in accounting principles.
