Le Méridien seeks an experienced facilities engineer to oversee engineering/maintenance operations, budget management, and energy conservation for the property. You will supervise preventive maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance and safety across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

Lead the emergency response and asset protection programs while maintaining guest satisfaction, asset integrity, and high standards of property care.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years experience in engineering/maintenance and HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.
• Or a 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics with 1 year experience in engineering/maintenance and HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsabilidades

• Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems.
• Ensures regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards.
• Manages and controls energy usage and recommends conservation methods.
• Develops specifications and requirements for service contracts and administers contracts.
• Distributes preventive maintenance and repair work orders and monitors completion quality.
• Oversees maintenance of grounds, guestrooms, public spaces, restaurants, vehicles and recreation facilities.
