Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Resident Engineer to lead and supervise all mechanical engineering activities for EHV/HV substations (132kV–400kV+). You will ensure construction aligns with drawings, specs, contract documents and local authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field is required.
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on erection, testing, and commissioning.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with subcontractors, clients, and civil teams.
• Proven ability to prepare and review technical drawings and calculations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
