Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead all aspects of mechanical engineering for EHV/HV substations. You will supervise erection, testing and commissioning, ensure works align with drawings and contracts, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to drive on-schedule delivery.

• Bachelor's degree or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in MEP engineering with a focus on erection testing and commissioning.
• Excellent coordination and communication with subcontractors, clients and civil teams.
• Proven ability to prepare and review technical drawings and calculations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings project specifications contract documents and local authority requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance productivity and adherence to project schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress workmanship and compliance.
• Review and recommend approval of contractor submissions including method statements material submittals shop drawings and work procedures.
• Participate in progress review meetings and coordinate with all project stakeholders

About you
