Job summary

Danat Al Emarat seeks a Research Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and manage clinical research activities within the hospital setting. You will serve as the primary link between investigators, participants, clinical staff, and regulatory bodies to ensure ethical, compliant, and efficient study execution.

Responsibilities include study planning, consenting participants, data management, regulatory submissions, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and labs.

• Assist Principal Investigators (PIs) and research teams with study planning, implementation, and completion.
• Obtain and document informed consent from study participants.
• Schedule participant visits, follow-ups, assessments, and research-related procedures.
• Collect, verify, maintain, and manage research data accurately and confidentially.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit research documentation to IRBs/Ethics Committees.
• Maintain study files, regulatory binders, and essential research documents.
• Monitor participant safety and report adverse events or protocol deviations as required.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, laboratory personnel, pharmacists, and other departments involved in research activities.
• Manage study budgets, supplies, equipment, and research-related resources when applicable.
• Facilitate site visits, audits, monitoring visits, and inspections by sponsors or regulatory authorities.
• Track study progress, participant enrollment, and data quality to ensure study milestones are achieved.
• Prepare reports, study updates, and research summaries for investigators, sponsors, and hospital leadership.
• Provide education and guidance to research staff regarding study procedures and protocol requirements.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of patient and research information.
• Support publication activities, presentations, and dissemination of research findings.
• Contribute to the development of evidence-based practices and continuous improvement in patient care through research initiatives.
