The selected candidate will contribute to the development of Tiramisu, a next‑generation programming framework that generates highly optimized code across multiple hardware architectures for academic and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Support research at the intersection of compilers, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Contribute to the development of automatic code optimization features within the Tiramisu programming framework.
• Improve machine learning modules used for optimization selection and compiler decision‑making.
• Analyze compiler optimizations such as vectorization, parallelization, fusion, and blocking for performance enhancement.
• Help design intelligent compiler passes that automatically choose the best optimization strategy for unoptimized programs.
• Work with performance benchmarking across multicore systems, GPUs, FPGAs, and distributed computing environments.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, research papers, and experimental evaluations.
• Collaborate with academic researchers, partner companies, and research labs involved in compiler innovation.
• Support continuous testing and refinement of optimization techniques for practical deployment.
