Job Duties

Under direct supervision, performs diagnoses, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down‑hole tool and other equipment used in the application for down‑hole tools. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Areas of specialization may include:

• mechanical aptitude
• interpretation of drawings/schematics
• use of precision measurements
• computer skills
• assembly and disassembly of tools associated with down‑hole equipment

Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of relevant experience in mechanical equipment repair and maintenance. A technical school certificate or higher is preferred.
