Job summary

Perle Systems is seeking a freelance Sinhalese transcriptionist to transcribe 2-speaker audio recordings with speaker labeling and timestamps. The role is remote, flexible, and paid per contract, open to contributors worldwide.

You will deliver accurate transcripts with clean punctuation, meet daily output targets, and pass a qualification test. Availability of at least 4 hours per day is required; strong attention to detail and consistent formatting are essential.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Sinhalese (spoken and written).
• Strong written Sinhalese — accurate spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Ability to work independently and meet daily output targets.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Sinhalese audio recordings and transcribe accurately.
• Label each speaker turn as Speaker 1 or Speaker 2 and add timestamps (HH:MM:SS).
• Ensure transcripts are sequential with no gaps and maintain formatting consistency.
