Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contribute to multidisciplinary research in satellite and drone-based remote sensing, GIS, and geospatial data modelling.
• Develop, manage and analyze large remote sensing datasets including optical, SAR and UAV imagery.
• Produce high-quality technical and scientific reports and visualizations.
• Collaborate with academic, government and industry partners and present findings at conferences.

Further information about the laboratory and its research activities is available at: www.mbrsclab.aeKey Requirements* Research experience: Demonstrated research experience with publication record, including the ability to conduct comprehensive literature reviews, analyze data, synthesize complex information, and prepare high-quality technical and scientific reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.* Remote sensing and GIS: Demonstrated experience in applying image processing, remote sensing, and GIS techniques to satellite, aerial, drone, and other geospatial datasets.* Programming and machine learning: Strong programming skills in Python; proficiency in MATLAB is desirable.
