Job summary

The Emirates Group is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer for mobile applications to design, develop and implement QA practices within an agile release train. You will ensure automated testing, CI/CD integration, and adherence to quality standards across complex digital solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in QA, strong mobile testing expertise (iOS & Android) and hands-on experience with modern UI testing tools and API automation.Remote work is supported; visa sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering roles involving building complex software solutions.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers; establish automation and coding best practices across SDLC.
• Strong expertise in mobile application testing (iOS & Android), mobile web, and design systems validation.
• Hands-on experience with modern UI testing frameworks (iOS: XCUITest; Android: Jetpack/Compose testing).
• Experience with API automation testing (REST/GraphQL) using Postman, REST-assured and Pact.
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI); cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and mobile device farms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement quality engineering practices for agile releases.
• Translate requirements into robust end-to-end tests.
• Coordinate testing of cross dependencies across release trains.
• Configure test tools to collect metrics for dashboards.
• Guide engineers to write automated functional tests via CI.
• Build and adapt automation frameworks and test harnesses.
• Ensure Quality Gate requirements are understood and met.
• Support major delivery initiatives across domains and environments.
• Foster team knowledge on technologies and processes.
