Job summary

You will design problems with realistic constraints, supply verifiable solutions, and review submissions for technical rigor. This is a remote, part-time contractor position with flexible commitments suitable for experts

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in electrical engineering, materials science, applied physics, or closely related field.
• Experience at a major semiconductor company at principal-, staff-, or fellow-level, or faculty appointment at a leading university.
• Deep expertise in at least one semiconductor area (device physics, process integration, circuit design, lithography, packaging, yield, reliability).

Responsibilities

• Create semiconductor engineering problems with realistic constraints and data.
• Provide technically correct solutions with verifiable reasoning.
• Define objective criteria to judge correctness.
• Review others' problems for accuracy and sound methods.
• Identify ambiguous problems or ones that cannot be reliably graded.
• Evaluate plausible answers using hands-on knowledge in at least one semiconductor area.
