Job summary

Zento Era in Dubai (DXB) offers a remote, full-time mid-level QA Automation Engineer role for a crypto trading platform and admin console. You will build and extend a Cypress-based automation suite across UI and API layers, covering KYC flows, deposits, withdrawals, admin workflows, and real-time updates.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of QA automation experience on web applications with real user flows and complex state.
• Strong Cypress proficiency with fixtures, custom commands, network interception, and CI integration.
• JavaScript or TypeScript fluency; able to read and write production code, not just tests.
• REST API testing experience with Postman/Newman or similar.
• Experience with SQL for test data setup and validation against Postgres or similar.
• CI/CD integration experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar).
• Familiarity with Docker for running test environments.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain browser-based E2E tests using Cypress and JavaScript, following existing patterns and improving them when necessary.
• Cover Sumsub-driven KYC flows end-to-end including creation, upload, liveness checks, AML screening, manual review escalation, re-verification, and edge cases.
• Validate deposit address generation across networks (ERC-20, BEP-20, TRC-20, Solana, Bitcoin) and track confirmations.
• Test withdrawal address whitelisting, 2FA enforcement, limits and cooldowns, and policy-compliant architecture across UI and admin surfaces.
• Cover admin console workflows: user management, KYC approvals/rejections, compliance flags, RBAC, and audit logging.
• Create test scenarios for orders, cancellations, partial fills, balance reconciliation, and real-time WebSocket updates.
• Build REST API coverage with Postman/Newman; explore contract testing with Pact and Schemathesis.
• Develop load tests using k6 or Artillery and monitor latency and throughput per release.
• Lock visual contracts on critical screens using Percy, Applitools, or Chromatic across multiple browsers.
• Integrate test suites into CI (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) with parallelization and flaky-test management.
