Job summary

Partner Law Firm is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to support a U.S. law firm in a fully remote capacity. You will manage cases from intake to settlement or litigation, coordinate medical records, and prepare settlement packages while maintaining client communication and deadlines.

The role requires at least 5 years of paralegal or related experience, 2+ years in US PI matters, and strong English communication. A long-term remote engagement with flexible FT/PT options is offered.

Qualifications

5+ years as paralegal, lawyer, or attorney in a legal setting.
2+ years as a personal injury paralegal for a US law firm.
Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters through intake to settlement.
Experience obtaining and organizing medical records, bills and insurance docs.
Experience preparing settlement demands and supporting settlements.
Strong client communication with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with bodily injury claims, liens, damages and settlement processes.
Litigation support experience: pleadings, discovery, depositions, trial prep.
Knowledge of statutes of limitations and court procedures.
Excellent writing, document prep and proofreading with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys in managing plaintiff-side personal injury cases from intake to settlement or litigation.
Conduct client intake and collect accident, injury, insurance and medical history details.
Obtain and organize medical records, bills, police and insurance docs.
Maintain client communication on treatment, progress, missing docs, milestones.
Coordinate with medical providers, insurers, opposing counsel, experts and others.
Prepare settlement demand packages and related documents.
Track treatment, liens, damages, settlement activity and case info.
Assist with lien resolution and payoff documentation.
Draft pleadings, discovery, notices, subpoenas and litigation docs.
Support deposition, mediation, hearings and trial prep with exhibits and records.
Monitor deadlines, statutes, schedules and court milestones.
Submit court filings electronically and maintain digital case files.
Adhere to procedures and quality standards while handling multiple cases.
