Job summary

Synthires is seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer for a fully remote hourly contract. You will design, train, and optimize ML models using Python and leading frameworks, while analyzing large datasets and leveraging MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.

You will build robust preprocessing pipelines, evaluate models with appropriate metrics, and collaborate across teams to improve workflows and deployment strategies. Strong documentation and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, ML Developer, Data Scientist, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML development.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Practical experience using MongoDB for data management and retrieval.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, model evaluation, and data preprocessing.
• Experience with feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model benchmarking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine machine learning models using Python and relevant ML frameworks.
