Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Hebrew freelance translator and copy editor to translate and edit content across product, marketing, UI, and customer support materials.

The role is remote and ongoing, with an expected workload of 1,000–2,000+ Hebrew words per week and collaboration within a global localization setup. The candidate should be a native or near-native Hebrew speaker with strong English skills, CAT tool experience, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Hebrew (he-IL) with strong U.S. English (en-US).
• 2+ years translation with degree, or 5+ years without degree.

Responsibilities

• Translate content from English into Hebrew (he-IL) with natural phrasing and cultural relevance.
• Copy-edit Hebrew translations across marketing, product, UI, customer support, and light legal content.
• Adapt terminology, tone, and style to content formats, audiences and brand.
• Maintain high quality, accuracy, readability and consistency.
• Use CAT tools and client translation platform to manage tasks efficiently.
• Follow project guidelines and QA procedures.
• Manage 1,000–2,000+ words per week and meet deadlines.
• Communicate with project teams about assignments and timelines.
• Incorporate feedback and collaborate with reviewers to improve quality.
• Participate in training for client tools and workflows.
