Qualifications

• 4 years of applied model editing experience; 10 years for complex model creation.
• Demonstrated GD&T application (ASME Y14.5 or equivalent) on real projects.
• DFM expertise across multiple manufacturing processes relevant to the scope.
• Ability to tackle assembly-level modeling, not just single-part tasks.
• Experience in reverse engineering workflows (scan-to-CAD or point clouds).
• Familiarity with CAD automation or scripting (Python, iLogic, VBA).

Responsibilities

• Develop fully parametric 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Edit and update existing parametric CAD models reflecting evolving requirements.
• Audit CAD models for dimensional accuracy, tolerance, and design intent.
• Support AI model training by delivering high-quality CAD data and notes.
• Apply manufacturing process knowledge to optimize designs for production.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to support collaboration.
