Job summary

Deel is seeking a talented full-stack engineer to join our remote-first team in Dubai, UAE. You’ll build high-quality web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express, while shaping server APIs and data models with PostgreSQL.

You’ll collaborate across product and engineering, own features end-to-end, and contribute to scalable, robust software in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack experience with a focus on TypeScript.
• Proven ability to design, code, test, and maintain web applications.
• Remote-first culture; able to collaborate across distributed teams.
• Independent worker who also contributes well in a team.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Business-focused mindset delivering high-value outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross-functional team of backend, frontend, product, and QA engineers.
• Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment.
• Collaborate to develop features, APIs, and scalable systems.
• Own the development of features on client, server, and database layers.
• Write reusable, modular components for frontend and backend.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality.
• Stay up-to-date with web development trends and best practices.
• Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
