Job summary

TrainMind enlists an experienced Finance Expert (Investment Banking / Private Equity) for a remote, hourly contract role at USD 150/hour. You will build financial models (LBOs, DCFs, operating models) and support AI training and financial reasoning projects.

Requirements include 2+ years on-desk IB/PE at a top-tier firm, strong deal modeling and valuation skills, and the ability to work remotely at least 20 hours/week with excellent written communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of on-desk Investment Banking or Private Equity experience at a top-tier firm.
• Strong track record in deal modeling, valuation and financial analysis.
• Proven ability to construct models independently and articulate assumptions clearly.
• Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and ability to review technical financial content.
• Ability to commit minimum 20 hours/week, working fully remotely and asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed financial models from scratch, including LBOs, DCFs, operating models, and transaction-driven analyses.
• Evaluate, refine, and validate AI-generated financial reasoning, ensuring accuracy, logical rigor, and professional-grade outputs.
• Review deal-related scenarios, prompts, and work products, improving clarity, depth, and analytical quality.
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to enhance AI model performance and real-world financial realism.
• Deliver structured, transparent, and audit-ready financial analysis, aligned with standards used at top-tier banking and PE firms.
